Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecutor's Office Returns "Ugljen", "Ševe", and "Halilović" Cases to Prosecutor's Office of BiH

The Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton has submitted the "Ugljen", "Ševe", and "Halilović" cases for further proceedings to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, as it is the only one competent to handle these cases, it was announced from the Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, writes Patria.

This was determined by the prosecutorial team of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office that worked on the aforementioned three cases.

Namely, the acting prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH stated that the cases were submitted for processing to the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office by decision of Chief Prosecutor Goran Salihović, even though it was determined that they concerned the criminal offense of terrorism, and that the Prosecutor's Office of BiH is simultaneously conducting an investigation in the "Veliki park" case.

The Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office also calls on the Prosecutor's Office of BiH to take action to determine any responsibility of the currently suspended Chief Prosecutor Goran Salihović regarding the manner of submitting these cases to this prosecutor's office, which is not actually competent, according to the statement from the Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton.
