Sarajevo Canton: 67 traffic accidents in two days, two people killed

On Tuesday and Wednesday, 67 traffic accidents occurred in Sarajevo Canton, in which two people were killed, two seriously injured and two slightly injured, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

One fatal accident occurred last night in the Otoka settlement, where Vedran Klačar, a 27-year-old young man involved in car racing, succumbed to his injuries, while the passenger sustained injuries and was treated at the UKCS.

Due to driving under the influence of alcohol, 14 drivers were removed from traffic, 15 persons for driving without a valid driver's license, 4 motor vehicles due to expired registration, and 11 unregistered motor vehicles.

The most common causes of traffic accidents are inappropriate speed, driving under the influence of alcohol, road conditions and inattention.
