Trucks with goods entering BiH without Croatian police escort from today

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Croatian National Civil Protection Headquarters has decided that from today (19.4.2020) at 6 PM, there will no longer be escorts for trucks coming to Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will significantly reduce
delays at border crossings.

Let's recall, the Republic of Croatia formed freight vehicles into a convoy at the entrance to that country, from the direction of Slovenia, which were then escorted to the border crossings MGP Gradiška, MGP Bijača and MGP Šamac, causing traffic jams and long delays.

The Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the Ministry of Security of BiH, maintains regular communication and coordination with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, and together they are taking the necessary measures to ensure unimpeded traffic flow under the current conditions, primarily related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
