FTV cameras 'arrested' in Operation Rez: Did Čampara and Lukač approve the filming?

After Operation Rez carried out by members of the Federal Police Administration on the order of the Court of BiH, under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, in which 11 persons were arrested and 13 locations were searched in the Sarajevo Canton area, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH has not issued an 'urgent' statement on measures against the arrested, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

All arrested persons are linked to criminal acts of terrorism, financing terrorism, incitement and preparation of criminal acts, as well as inducing persons to go to foreign war zones. They are also linked to violations of the Law on Freedom of Religion and the Legal Position of Churches and Religious Communities in BiH.

Incidentally, the operation itself was followed by cameras of the Federal Television, meaning the operation was not carried out in secrecy but with a media spectacle. Considering the suspicion of terrorism, it is even stranger that the cameras followed the FUP officers closely, and at one point the camera even went first.

Well-informed sources from the FUP told Patria yesterday that the operation was 'compromised and organized only to pull the wool over someone's eyes'.

From the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, they sent a photo of the found flag of the so-called ISIL to the media yesterday, but there was no official information about what else was seized.

Mirza Smajić, a professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo, answering the question of how he comments on the presence of public service cameras in such an operation, said that this is a question for the Minister of Interior of the Federation of BiH, Aljoša Čampara. However, it is also a question for the retired director of the FUP, Dragan Lukač, who used this operation to introduce the FUP spokesperson and asked some journalists 'if he likes his spokesperson'.

On the other hand, one high-ranking official of a police agency said, 'What if, God forbid, a bullet hit the cameraman or the journalist.'

The question arises as to who needs public performances and why a media spectacle is being made of the security sector.
