Kamber, Husić and Vukalić handed over to the BiH Prosecutor's Office

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Asim Kamber, Mirela Husić and Fazir Vukalić were handed over this morning to the jurisdiction of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, after being arrested yesterday by members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA).

The investigation of the BiH Prosecutor's Office is focused on the discovery and prosecution of criminal offenses of election fraud, suspected to have been committed during the General Elections in 2018.

Yesterday, SIPA members searched four locations in Sanski Most and seized certain documentation, mobile phones, dictaphone cassettes, and other electronic data storage devices.

Kamber, Husić and Vukalić are suspected of, in their capacity as members of election bodies, illegally voting using the data of deceased persons, as well as using votes for individuals who did not participate in the elections, with the aim of obtaining the largest possible number of votes for certain candidates from the Sanski Most area.

After they are brought before the acting prosecutor, the prosecutor will question the suspects and make a decision on further activities in the case, stated the BiH Prosecutor's Office.
