(Patria) - The World Health Organization (WHO) in BiH advises on how to stay healthy at home, due to measures to stay indoors to suppress the spread of the pandemic.
“Many of you watching this are now at home to protect your health and the health of your loved ones. However, you can do a lot to stay healthy at home.
For example, you can eat healthy and nutritious food but without sugary drinks, and avoid smoking and be physically active. If you have the opportunity, go for a walk. Or at least do online fitness exercises or yoga. Do not sit in the same position for a long time; get up and move for at least 3 minutes several times a day. Taking care of mental health is very important. Talk to people you trust, listen to music, read books, or entertain yourself with some games.
Show the world how you are healthy at home,” state WHO BiH.
If you cannot cope with overwhelming psychological distress on your own or if it hinders your functioning, seek professional help. Also, if you have urges to harm yourself or others due to serious psychological distress, you need urgent psychiatric care and should share it immediately with your loved ones.
