How Bakir Izetbegović deceived the Islamic Community of BiH

Bakir Izetbegović deceived the Islamic Community of BiH by promising, before the elections for the Bosniak member of the state Presidency, that he would get rid of all compromised SDA cadres once he took office.

The leaders of the Islamic Community of BiH and the Sabor (Assembly) promised him their support only on this condition, because they knew that those mired in nepotism, crime, and various fabricated processes against political opponents and dissidents could only lead the SDA to ruin.

And what did Izetbegović do?

He exploited the favor of influential and respected circles within the Islamic Community, who are valued by Bosniaks, won the race for the member of the Presidency, and forgot about his promise.

A few months later, acting as if he had never asked for help, at the SDA Congress he selected and installed all those who, since entering politics, have only seen personal gain, without regard for internal party "strangulation" and the decline of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

From Asim Sarajlić, through Dževad Mahmutović, Denis Zvizdić, to Amir Zukić, all SDA cadres about whom nothing good can be said have surrounded Izetbegović, who, long ago, when he appointed his wife as director of a public institution, began to lose touch with reality.

Now he is definitely gone.

If he were present, he would look around and see that everything his closest associates are doing now brings no good to him, nor to the SDA, nor to Bosniaks, nor to the state.

Izetbegović learned nothing from his wise late father, nor from the lessons of the 2009 Congress. At that time, the late Sulejman Tihić, who is increasingly showing leadership and statesmanship qualities as time goes by, defeated him in the race for party president, but then proposed him as his deputy.

Izetbegović could also have proposed Šemsudin Mehmedović as his deputy, and then appointed people to the party's Presidency who are not just yes-men, but who do not always agree with him.

He would have gained stronger and better associates then, and he himself would have strengthened, instead of sinking deeper into the mire of ignorance.

Either he is absolutely incompetent to perform the functions he has attained, or it suits him, so he doesn't have to worry about the party, the people, or the state.

If it is the former, then Izetbegović is not even aware that his "loyal" associates, who now call the shots in and out of the SDA, even meddling in the Islamic Community of BiH, are using him, preparing a noose for his neck, and just waiting for the moment to remove him from the position of president.

If it is the latter, then he is a unscrupulous and selfish man whose only concern in life is himself and his wife.
