How to recognize local honey?

(Patria) - Lately, more and more "fake honey" can be found on sale, i.e., a product that only looks like "real" honey, but is actually made of sugar and has no "medicinal" properties.

How to recognize real honey in the store? Is there any way or test that will reveal to us that the product we are buying is natural?

Experts say there is a trick by which we can discover which honey is real - domestic, and which is fake.

- When you are in the supermarket, you can simply turn the jar of honey upside down. When you do this, a bubble will appear that moves upwards - this is an indicator that the honey is truly natural and truly real.

If it were not so, the entire amount would immediately sink to the bottom and there would be no bubble, which is usually pear-shaped - says Master of Pharmacy Hristina Lazarević.
