Kajganić Declares Himself Incompetent for Election Fraud in Republika Srpska!

By: A. Čorbo-Zećo

Milanko Kajganić, the head of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, declared himself incompetent for election fraud in Republika Srpska!

"Elections for entity levels are under the jurisdiction of entity prosecutor's offices," said Kajganić.

Namely, Kajganić, acting chief prosecutor of BiH, justifying himself publicly regarding the information that the BiH Prosecutor's Office had launched urgent checks against members of the Central Election Commission of BiH due to their order to recount votes for the President of Republika Srpska, which was interpreted as saving Milorad Dodik, attempted, but very unsuccessfully, to deny such claims.

Simply put, in an interview with Raport, he further strengthened suspicions that the BiH Prosecutor's Office is saving Dodik, because when asked whether the Prosecutor's Office had also acted on allegations of election fraud, he said:

“Yes, for the part concerning the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Elections for entity levels are under the jurisdiction of entity prosecutor's offices. In that part, we will provide all necessary assistance,” said Kajganić for Raport.

Therefore, possible thefts by Dodik or others in Republika Srpska are not of interest to Kajganić, more precisely, he will leave them to the entity prosecutor's office(!?).

However, the General Elections in BiH were held under the BiH Election Law, which certainly includes the election of the President and Vice Presidents of RS, so the BiH Prosecutor's Office is indeed competent for any criminal acts committed in that process.

I also recall that Kajganić promised that the BiH Prosecutor's Office would deploy duty prosecutors on election day in the regional centers of SIPA in Banja Luka, Tuzla, and Mostar.

It is also important to highlight the case of Hozići (Novi Grad/RS). There, after gross violations of the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina were established, all five members of the polling station committee were arrested.

The operation was carried out by order of the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Prijedor. At that time, acting chief state prosecutor Milanko Kajganić confirmed that they would be handed over to the jurisdiction of the BiH Prosecutor's Office.

The Prosecutor's Office itself, after the elections, confirmed that 27 reports of irregularities were received after the elections, and the BiH Prosecutor's Office promptly began working on Milorad Dodik's complaint against the CEC!

To defend himself from the question of why he is investigating CEC members instead of election fraud, Kajganić started talking about jurisdictions.

Dodik reported the CEC members because, as he claims, they made an illegal decision to recount votes for the President of Republika Srpska.

However, the CEC also reported Dodik because he made a series of insults and threats against the CEC President Suad Arnautović and member Vanja Bjelica-Prutina. He has not yet received a summons for a hearing, or Kajganić will assign that case to two prosecutors, like the case of buying a villa in Dedinje, and the investigation will stagnate in the dark for years, or it will remain deep in drawers with the claim – the investigation is ongoing.
