
(Patria) - At the conference of chief prosecutors in BiH, organized by the HJPC BiH and held in Teslić, the chief prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, Milanko Kajganić, participated as a speaker on a panel concerning the analysis of the most significant work results in prosecutor's offices in BiH, with a special focus on the fight against corruption and organized crime.
Chief Prosecutor Kajganić presented the results of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH in this area, both in actions carried out at the order of the prosecutor's office and in indictments filed in the field of organized crime and corruption in the past period.
As part of the presentation, the prosecutor also noted observed difficulties in the work of the prosecutor's office and law enforcement institutions and agencies, which need to be addressed for a more efficient fight against this type of crime.
In the upcoming period, in the cases of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, prosecutorial decisions are expected in significant cases in the fight against corruption and organized crime, which will also include high-ranking officials of institutions in BiH. Additionally, compared to regional countries, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH has so far had the highest number of filed indictments and carried out actions in cases with evidence from the SKY and Anom applications, as indictments have been confirmed against more than 70 persons charged in these cases, and significant prosecutorial decisions in this segment are also expected during 2024.
