The day after the Festival opening with a screening of the cult film TAXI DRIVER, prominent actor Robert De Niro will, for the festival audience, participants of the Talents Sarajevo program and media representatives, talk about his career in a conversation held at the National Theatre.
The conversation will be moderated by Mike Goodridge, former editor of the prestigious magazine Screen International and current CEO of the London-based company Protagonist Pictures. Goodridge is one of the selectors of the Kinoscope program of the Sarajevo Film Festival.
De Niro immediately addressed the US presidential elections at the beginning of the conversation.
- God help us - said the famous actor about presidential candidate Donald Trump, commenting on his statements.
Among other things, De Niro admitted that his children do not see him as a big movie star, explaining it with the words "a prophet is never more valued than in his own home."
