Cadets discovered the recipe for the title: We breathed as one for 143 days

Thunderous applause at Sarajevo Airport welcomed the golden cadet national team of BiH, and captain Džanan  Musa was the first to address the crowd, thanking everyone for coming and their support, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

- I can't believe what we've done. I would like to thank you for your support. We have done much more than we thought. We conquered Europe and we are moving on, this is just the beginning. We breathed as one for 143 days - said Musa, revealing the secret of how they managed to win the title.

Njegoš Sikiraš, Sani Čampara, and coach Josip Pandža, who spoke very emotionally about his team, followed.

- We are satisfied, very satisfied. We conquered Europe and fought to the last drop of sweat, and that's it. Thanks to my guys from the team - said Sikiraš.

- We said that if we stick together, we will beat everyone. We stuck together and won gold - said Čampara, adding that he made that fateful three-pointer because he knew how many people were watching the game and expecting it from him.

- It's not difficult to be a coach to these guys. You give them the ball and they beat Spain, Lithuania. They are masters. They went out in front of 5,000 people and were so calm. It is now up to the state to help these guys become seniors too. I am not alone here. My assistants Enes Numanović, Alen Tucaković, and Elvir Zametica are also here - said Pandža.

Igor Stojanović, director of the national basketball teams, said that there were no incidents among the guys during this entire time.

- They behaved like true professionals. But it is now up to all of us, citizens and authorities, not to allow their talent to be buried 4 meters underground. This country also has handball players, volleyball players, and people who make films. We have talent, let's not let it go to waste - said Stojanović.

From Sarajevo Airport, everyone headed towards the city center in an open bus in the colors of BiH.
