South Korean spies for CNN: North Korea plans terrorist attacks

If South Korean intelligence data is to be believed, North Korea is preparing a terrorist attack on South Korea, and the order was allegedly given by Kim Jong Un himself, reports the Patria news agency.

"The North Korean terrorist attack could target activists who oppose them, defectors, or even our officials," officials from South Korea's ruling party told CNN.

Targets could also include shopping centers, subways, exhibition spaces, and power plants, and the possibility of a cyber attack is not ruled out.

U.S. President Barack Obama on Thursday signed a law passed by Congress seven days ago, which provides for new sanctions against North Korea in response to its fourth nuclear test.

He signed the introduction of new expanded sanctions against North Korea due to its nuclear program, several weeks after it launched a long-range missile, reports Index.
