Jusko at the 70th anniversary of the UNECE Inland Transport Committee: Transport projects in BiH launched

Minister of Communications and Transport of BiH Ismir Jusko, at the invitation of the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), is participating in the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the UNECE Inland Transport Committee (ITC) in Geneva.

From the cabinet of the BiH minister, it was announced that Minister Jusko met during the conference with the EU Transport Commissioner Violeta Bulc and the Head of the EU Delegation to the UN in Geneva, Peter Sorensen. Jusko informed Commissioner Bulc and Ambassador Sorensen about the activities that the Ministry of Communications and Transport has undertaken in the past few months, emphasizing the start of works on the Svilaj bridge, plans for Corridor Vc, construction of the bridge on the Drina between Ljubovija and Bratunac, preparations for the construction of the bridge on the Sava near Gradiška...

Minister Jusko also informed his interlocutors about the initiative for the construction of a fast road that would connect Sarajevo and Belgrade, and the plan of BiH and Montenegro for inclusion in the SEETO network of the railway line Čapljina – Trebinje – Nikšić.
