Jovanović: BiH Constitutional Court did not take away agricultural land from Republika Srpska

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - LDP leader Čedomir Jovanović, as a guest on RTS, spoke about the latest developments in BiH, the decision of the BiH Constitutional Court and the reactions of officials from the entity of Republika Srpska, and emphasized that the claim that the BiH Constitutional Court took away agricultural land from Republika Srpska is a lie.

"It is a lie that the BiH Constitutional Court took away agricultural land from Republika Srpska. The truth is that they started selling off the land, took the money, and did not have the right to do so. That in the Law on Agricultural Land they tried to take away what cannot be taken away from the state of BiH, and it is as much Serbian as it is Bosniak and Croatian. That is the truth," Jovanović stated.

He added that the Constitutional Court did not take anything away from anyone and that foreigners are not tyrants who have animosity towards Serbs and Croats.

"The Constitutional Court did not take anything away, nor is it a Constitutional Court where some foreigners sit who tyrannize Serbs and Croats. You know when he (Milorad Dodik) will get that decision (on the departure of foreign judges)? When he is capable of taking responsibility for his own actions and passing the test of rationality. 14 years of his rule have been marked by such decisions. A month and a half ago, after a year of tyrannizing Bosnia and preventing the formation of the Bosnian government, due to his opposition to NATO integration which began during his term, by the decision of his government and his member of the BiH Presidency. Dodik voted for BiH to join NATO. And then, four years later, since he hasn't been removed from the US blacklist, he threatens. This is not my interpretation, he voted for it. A month and a half ago, that man voted for the Reform Program, which is another name for the continuation of NATO integration and which was a prerequisite for unblocking the Council of Ministers and forming a new government in BiH. A year and a half after the elections, the country has no government because Dodik is blocking his own decision," Jovanović concluded.
