(Patria) - Currently, there is no information about the date of a new round of negotiations to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, a source close to political circles in Ankara told TASS on Monday.
"Currently, there is no information about any potential dates. There is also no information on whether detailed contacts are currently underway regarding this issue," the source stated, responding to a question about whether negotiations are possible in March.
He added that Turkey is always "open to all initiatives and will organize negotiations if all involved parties are willing to do so."
Spokesperson for the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, previously stated that parties involved in negotiations to resolve the Ukrainian conflict consider Istanbul a possible platform for negotiations.
"The Istanbul option exists, and all involved parties are very positive about it," Peskov said.
