Exact causes of the accident still unknown: Driver lost control of the car due to speed

The investigation, which began in the afternoon after a serious traffic accident on the A1 highway near Ilijaš in which one person was killed and another injured, was completed during the night, writes the Patria agency.

A young man, Amir Alić (1992), who was in the passenger seat, died at the scene, while the driver, Ferid H., was transferred to the General Hospital "Prim.dr. Abdulah Nakaš".

The two young men were in an Audi vehicle which, for reasons yet to be determined, veered off the road, hit a concrete wall, and then another car. The impact split the vehicle in half.

The prosecutor from the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office was at the scene and supervised the investigation. It is presumed that the car was traveling at high speed and that the driver lost control.

The exact causes that led to this accident will be determined through necessary expert examinations.
