It is not yet known who will form the government in Sarajevo Canton

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Working groups of Our Party, Democratic Front, and Social Democratic Party are intensively working on a coalition agreement for Sarajevo Canton that will contain principles of action, draft laws, bylaws, as well as other measures.

Head of the DF negotiating team, Milan Dunović, told the Patria agency that all attention is now focused on drafting this document. It is not yet known when the next meeting of party delegations will be held, and the last one was held last week.

- This is a voluminous document that is being prepared, but it does not include the division of positions, departments, but exclusively programmatic goals - Dunović told Patria.

On the other hand, the presidents of SBB, People and Justice, and Independent Bosnian-Herzegovinian List, Fahrudin Radončić, Elmedin Konaković, and Ibrahim Hadžibajrić, held a meeting on October 23 where they discussed forming the government. An official joint meeting of representatives of these six parties has not yet been held, and for now, no one is even mentioning such a possibility.

Head of the Our Party negotiating team, Edin Forto, points out that all parties except SDA and BOSS will be offered the coalition agreement that is in preparation. 

The bloc of left-oriented parties SDP, DF, and NS has 12 representatives in the KS Assembly, while the bloc of the other three parties SBB, NiP, and NBL also has 12 representatives. What was emphasized at the beginning by these parties is that they do not want to enter into mathematical but programmatic coalitions.

All six of these parties refused to negotiate with the Party of Democratic Action.

SDA won ten mandates in the KS Assembly. BOSS has one mandate.
