(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of BiH, at its 81st extraordinary telephone session, did not reach the necessary consensus on adopting the Decision amending the Decision on the temporary ban on the export of certain wood assortments and wood products, which was intended to allow the export of pellets from BiH.
The Council of Ministers of BiH will vote on this item in the second round of voting at the next session.
We remind you that the Government of Republika Srpska adopted a conclusion and sent it to the Council of Ministers of BiH, requesting that exports of wood pellets (classified under tariff number 4401, or subheading 4401 31 00 00) be permitted for a period of 60 days.
The Government requests that after this period expires, the Council of Ministers introduce export restrictions in such a way that economic entities can export up to half of the produced goods under the specified tariff numbers.
