ANOTHER SHOOTING IN THE US: At least three children and three adults killed

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - At least three children and three adults were killed in a shooting that occurred on Monday at the private Christian school Covenant School in Nashville (USA)

The shooter, described as a teenager, is also dead, said Metro Nashville Police spokesperson Don Aaron, and police are still working to determine the person's identity.

He said they do not yet know if they had any connection to the school, although they "appeared" to be a teenager.

All three students were pronounced dead upon arrival at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, the institution announced.

The shooting caused a large police and fire department response, and families of students gathered outside the school awaiting news of their loved ones.

This incident is the 19th shooting recorded at an educational institution this year in the USA in which at least one person was injured, reports CNN.

Last week, a high school student in Denver, Colorado, shot and injured two people, and the student was later found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

This is also the 128th mass shooting this year in the USA, according to data from the Gun Violence Archive, reports N1.
