Another Kidnapping: Police Found a 15-Year-Old Tied Up

Valjevo police found an as-yet-unnamed boy (15) in the village of Divci, tied up with shoelaces on the main road to Belgrade, reports the Patria News Agency.

The boy was seen last night by residents of Divci, who immediately called the police, who arrived at the scene by ambulance.

The minor, who was transferred to the General Hospital in Valjevo, was lying by the roadside, tied up with his own shoelaces. He had no other injuries, but remains in intensive care for observation.

He told the police that he only remembered "a black car and people with masks on their heads," and could not recall other details in his initial statement to the police.

The disappearance of the boy, who was placed with a foster family in Vladimirci, was reported yesterday, and investigative authorities are checking whether this was an attempted kidnapping of a minor or if other circumstances led to him being on the road during the night.
