Another Benjamin Netanyahu crime: Girls' school hit in attack on Iran, at least 40 killed

(Patria) - The death toll in the Israeli attack on a primary school for girls in the city of Minab, in the southern Iranian province of Hormozgan, has risen to 40, with many more injured, the Iranian state news agency IRNA reports.

According to the agency, the school was hit during US-Israeli airstrikes on Iranian targets.

At the same time, the Israeli army announced that it had hit "hundreds of Iranian military targets," including missile launchers, during airstrikes on western parts of Iran. It added that the Israeli Air Force is simultaneously operating to intercept Iranian retaliatory attacks.

A US official told Al Jazeera that the United States will continue with "extensive" airstrikes on Iran from the air and sea, emphasizing that the operations aim to dismantle Iran's security apparatus.
