Another US soldier killed in war against Iran

(Patria) - The US military announced on Sunday that a soldier died after being wounded in an Iranian attack, marking the seventh US combat death since the war began, Al Arabiya reported.

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM), which oversees US military forces in the Middle East, stated that the soldier died on Saturday evening "from wounds sustained during the initial attacks by the Iranian regime across the Middle East" on March 1.

It did not provide further details on the circumstances of the attack and stated that the soldier's identity would not be released until 24 hours after the family has been notified.

Six other US soldiers killed so far were in Kuwait and were also hit in the initial wave of retaliation from Iran.
