Another proof that justice is not a priority of the BiH Prosecutor's Office: Vukojičić unprepared in the Dobrovoljačka case, hearing cancelled!

Today's postponement of the hearing in the Dobrovoljačka case once again raised questions about the manner in which this case has been conducted. Although all the accused duly appeared before the Court, as did the witness whom the prosecutor Mladen Vukojičić planned to examine, the hearing was not held.

Namely, during a conversation with Court officials, the witness stated that he had previously testified before the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and that he had certain protective measures. According to information from the courtroom, the prosecutor was not aware of this fact, which is why the Court ordered additional checks before continuing the proceedings, ultimately leading to the postponement of the hearing.

Such a development justifiably raises doubts among many about the seriousness and thoroughness of the case preparation by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is difficult to speak of an effective determination of the truth and justice when information that should have been known and verified much earlier emerges during the proceedings themselves.

Therefore, the question of the real motives behind certain proceedings conducted before the judicial institutions of BiH is once again raised. Instead of a clear and impartial determination of facts, one gets the impression that certain proceedings serve to create a narrative according to which all sides in the war are equally responsible, regardless of historical facts and the nature of the conflict.

Many see such an approach as an attempt at revisionism that equates aggressors and defenders, instead of establishing responsibility solely on the basis of evidence and individual guilt.

Justice must not be a means of confirming predetermined political or historical narratives. Its only goal must be to establish the truth, based on facts, evidence, and a lawful procedure.

In this case, it seems that the only goal was to file an indictment (signed by Vukojičić and Milanko Kajganić) at the request of Belgrade, and then to have the indictment confirmed by judge Braca Stupar, so the prosecutor's unpreparedness is not an exception, but a rule, because he fulfilled his goal!
