Have the citizens of BiH given up on their destiny: Montenegrins and Americans could, what about us?

(Patria) - Low turnout already shows that citizens in BiH have clearly left their destiny and livelihood in the hands of nationalists and those parties that only benefit from low turnout. 

In Montenegro, in the first report by 11 AM, 40 percent of voters turned out, in BiH only 14 percent. What does this tell us. In America, record turnout brought Joe Biden to the White House. Therefore, mass participation brings change. 

Given the turnout rate, God willing, by the closing of polling stations, 40 percent of citizens in total will exercise their right. But it is not just a right, it is also an obligation. Have we really hit rock bottom.

Corona has definitely affected turnout in elections. There are people who are simply afraid and do not want to expose themselves to risk. 

However, with maximum adherence to measures, the risk is not great compared to what will happen to us in the next four years.

Only disciplined party soldiers are apparently turning out for the elections!

That is why we will have to watch 'them' for four long years, basking in the sun from Banovići, while they rub their hands and distribute budget money where they want.

Otherwise, turnout in local elections is somewhat lower than in general elections, and it is certain that lower turnout suits the parties in power. 

The coronavirus situation will affect turnout, but the biggest factor affecting turnout is the distrust of citizens and voters in many political parties, and that is the biggest problem.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the last local elections, out of 3,155,128 voters registered on the central voter list, 1,782,831 voted, or 54.77 percent, which currently seems unattainable. 

It is not too late yet, let's show that we exist and that we understand democracy.
