Have you ever considered a summer holiday in Romania: The Black Sea might be the right choice for you

(Patria) - The chances of someone from Bosnia and Herzegovina travelling to Romania for a summer holiday are slim, almost non-existent.

However, that does not mean it is not worth exploring what other countries have to offer.

Who knows, given that the Adriatic is considered to have become quite expensive, perhaps someone might just head off to Constanta…

And if they decide to do something like that, there is plenty of time for planning.

Constanta is, above all, a city with a rich history, founded as early as 600 BC.

It is located on the Black Sea, abounds with sandy beaches, and throughout the summer serves as a host to festivals and beach parties.

Because of this, it has become synonymous in Romania with sunbathing and swimming by day, and clubbing by night, writes Punkufer.

But, as reported by the British Metro, that is not all. Architecture, history, museums, and food and drink ensure that every traveller can find something to their liking.

To start with, how to get there? The easiest way is by plane to Bucharest, and then from the Romanian capital by train to Constanta, which will take you two hours.

Of course, you can also take a bus, and probably the best option is renting a car, which will also give you mobility.

The best time to visit is certainly late spring, or early summer, when the mercury shows 25 degrees or more.

Namely, not only is the weather best then, but the Mamaia beach also starts hosting performances by DJs from all over the world.

The most famous festivals are Neversea in July and Vama Veche in August. As for the weather, rain is rare in the summer, and until the end of September the temperature rarely drops below 20 degrees.

Considering that not everyone is only thinking about wild parties, and there are also history and sightseeing enthusiasts, a walk along the Tomis marina and Ovid Square should make you happy, with ancient buildings and Roman mosaics along the streets.

The National History and Archaeology Museum also contains a large collection of ancient art, and the city's Archaeological Park is an excellent choice for an afternoon of exploration.

And finally, what everyone is always interested in - prices. They are not too high, so a stay in a three-star hotel will cost you between 40 and 60 euros.

A main course in a restaurant costs between 8 and 10 euros, while for half a litre of beer you need to set aside far less than, say, in Neum.

Of course, take this as a guideline, because Constanta itself also has upscale places where you can easily spend an entire salary.
