Are we "bugged" even in our bedrooms?

For who knows how many times, it was confirmed yesterday that BiH is a country where nothing and no one should surprise anymore. However, ordinary people and the BiH public yesterday commented with disgust and mild disbelief on the news that, no less, the BiH Border Police is being wiretapped in this country, according to a statement by the Coalition of Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Patria reports.

According to media reports, the Office for Professional Standards and Internal Control within the Border Police is conducting an investigation because illegal wiretapping devices were found in their premises. Who, when, why, how, and with what intention brought and installed these devices in the premises of the Border Police is unknown, and until the results of the investigation shed light on this, it is also symptomatic that there is no proper record of wiretapping for two legal devices.

Legal wiretapping devices are used exclusively by court order, the room in which they are used is under constant video surveillance, but what's the use when there is no proper record of wiretapping even with them, leaving the possibility for the assumption of "overuse".

In essence, perhaps the public is not so interested in the events within the Border Police, but they are concerned, surprised, and annoyed whether their bedrooms are or will be "bugged" tomorrow, fearing that the time has come when one will not feel safe or peaceful even in their own home, as times have come when you will have to whisper to your children or wife: "Hush, even the walls have ears.".
