The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of BiH will adopt a conclusion at today's session regarding the correspondence it received after the BiH Prosecutor's Office refused to allow the OSCE to inspect war crimes case files. The HJPC has a different opinion than the Prosecutor's Office regarding access to the files, writes the Patria News Agency.
Amer Jerlagić, president of the Party of BiH, believes that neither under the Dayton Peace Agreement nor under any international act does the OSCE have the right or permission to request such a thing, to meddle in the cases of the BiH Prosecutor's Office.
- This gives additional elements to Milorad Dodik to then confirm that foreigners are interfering in these processes in BiH. I would like to know if the OSCE and the people representing them have ever done such a thing anywhere in the world or the region, and for representatives of the OSCE to confirm that for us. This all smells like the neighboring eastern country - Serbia, because we know that the President of the OSCE is Ivica Dačić, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, and that this has something to do with the kitchen of the eastern neighbor – said Jerlagić.
He added that it would be good for the OSCE to engage in what is within its mandate, which is creating conditions for Bosniak children to learn the Bosnian language, the constitutional language in the smaller BiH entity, and not to deal with the cases of the BiH Prosecutor's Office.
- I hope that the HJPC will not side with the OSCE, because according to Dayton, only the OHR has the exclusive right to do so – added Jerlagić.
