Jens Stoltenberg to remain NATO chief

(Patria) - NATO allies agreed today to extend the mandate of Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg for another year, until October 1, 2024.

The decision will be supported by NATO heads of state and government at the Summit in Vilnius.

Allies thanked the Secretary General for his leadership and commitment, which have been key to preserving transatlantic unity in the face of unprecedented security challenges, Hina reports.
