Largest Ilidža Municipality Budget Proposal of 38.1 Million KM Unanimously Adopted

SARAJevo, (Patria) - The Ilidža Municipal Council considered the Ilidža Municipality Budget Proposal for 2022 at its Ninth regular session. 

After an extremely substantive presentation of the Budget Proposal, the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur, presented the most significant capital projects whose realization is expected to begin in the next calendar year.

"The capital projects whose realization is planned to start in 2022 are historic for the municipality of Ilidža, and accordingly, the next year should also be historic for our local community," said Mayor Muzur.

The adopted Ilidža Municipality Budget for 2022 is the largest ever adopted in the regular procedure, amounting to 38,120,000 KM.

The Budget retains items intended for social protection, support for the veteran population, support in the fields of sports, culture, education, youth, and others. Allocations for capital projects have been increased, with more than 50% of the Budget allocated to capital investments, making it a development budget.

It is important to emphasize that the Ilidža Municipality Budget for 2022, with accepted amendments, was unanimously adopted by all present councilors of the Ilidža Municipal Council, which clearly shows that this Budget has earned support for the commitment to the development of Ilidža municipality in the future.

The Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, Nermin Muzur, thanked all councilors for their support. He emphasized that the unanimous support for the 2022 Budget is a great recognition, but also a confirmation that Ilidža Municipality, through realized and planned activities, has chosen the right path to improve the living environment in Ilidža.
