One third of Bosnia's economy destroyed by floods

The Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH announced at a press conference in Sarajevo today that the floods that hit BiH a few days ago destroyed one third of the economy in our country. This is the biggest disaster that has hit our country since the war, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Around 25 companies were destroyed in Gračanica alone, with direct damages estimated at over 11 million marks, while indirect damages could be much higher.
More than a hundred companies in the areas of Tuzla, Maglaj, Posavina... are currently not operating.

It was announced that the FTC has formed a crisis headquarters that works in two directions. One direction is focused on assessing the damages incurred, and the other is focused on developing proposals for the remediation of these damages.
