One person killed in shooting in Višnjevo near Travnik

One person was killed in a shooting in Višnjevo near Travnik, reports the Patria agency.

The SBK Ministry of Interior announced that they received a report of the use of a firearm on Sunday shortly after 11 PM, and that upon arriving at the scene, they determined that one person had been killed.

- Immediately after receiving the report, police officers from the Travnik Police Station arrived at the scene and established that S.M., born in 1971, fired an automatic rifle at F.Đ., born in 1979, who was killed in the incident. S.M. confessed to committing the criminal offense and was immediately taken into custody. An automatic rifle, shell casings, and other evidence indicating the commission of the criminal offense were found at the scene - the police of the Central Bosnia Canton announced.

An investigation at the scene was conducted by inspectors from the Criminal Police Sector of the SBK Ministry of Interior, who are also taking other legally prescribed measures and actions to determine the facts and circumstances in order to shed light on the incident.

The competent cantonal prosecutor was informed of everything and ordered an autopsy of the deceased person.
