One person seriously injured in a traffic accident in Ilidža, driver fled the scene

One person was seriously injured in a traffic accident that occurred on Sunday in Sarajevo, writes the Patria agency.

The accident happened at 10:50 PM at the intersection of Butmirska cesta and Jesenja streets in the municipality of Ilidža, and the driver who caused the traffic accident fled the scene.

- At that time, pedestrian A.S.K.A.S., born in 1960, a citizen of Oman, with temporary residence in Sarajevo, was hit and knocked to the ground by a passenger motor vehicle of unknown make and license plates, driven by an unknown driver, who fled the scene in an unknown direction after the accident. The injured person received medical assistance at the Clinical Center University of Sarajevo, where doctors determined she had sustained serious bodily injuries. The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed of everything. The investigation was conducted by police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, who continue to work on clarifying the incident, identifying and finding the driver and the vehicle – it was announced from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
