One person injured in shooting outside a catering facility in Tuzla

(Patria) - Officers of the Zapad Police Station, Tuzla Police Administration, received a report last night about the use of firearms in front of a catering facility on Husinska buna street.

Shots were fired at S.D. (48) from Lukavac, after which the two perpetrators of the shooting fled the scene.

During the incident, S.D. sustained minor injuries, confirmed at the University Clinical Center Tuzla, Clinic for Orthopedics and Traumatology.

Through operational work, police officers obtained information about the participants of the mentioned event, who were found and apprehended at the official premises of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton Police Administration.

The individuals are E.S. (1988) and A.B. (1985) - both from Tuzla, as announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton Police Administration.

The duty cantonal prosecutor was informed about the incident, and at their order, an investigation was carried out by police officers of the Criminal Police Department of the Tuzla Police Administration, with the assistance of police officers from Tuzla Police Administration - Zapad Police Station, as well as a ballistics expert.

"Individuals E.S. and A.B. have been deprived of their liberty, due to grounds for suspicion that they are connected to the commission of the criminal offense under Article 166 in conjunction with Article 28 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Attempted Murder.

Further investigative actions are underway, under the order of the duty cantonal prosecutor, and after the criminal investigation, the said individuals will be handed over today with a report to the Prosecutor's Office of Tuzla Canton for jurisdiction and further proceedings," announced the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton Police Administration.
