One person killed in a serious accident on the Banja Luka - Laktaši expressway

(Patria) - One person died today in a serious traffic accident on the Banja Luka - Laktaši expressway.

The spokesperson for the Banja Luka Police Administration, Danijela Mučibabić, told RTRs that police officers responded around 12:05 PM to a report of a traffic accident on the Banja Luka - Laktaši main road.

- An investigation is underway. According to initial information, one person was fatally injured, while another was seriously injured. More information will be available after the investigation is completed - Mučibabić said.

Driving in the opposite lane, the driver of a Škoda car collided with an ambulance.

Due to the accident, a large traffic jam formed on this section of the road.
