One worker killed, two injured after collapse of construction structure in Tuzla

TUZLA, (Patria) - In the collapse of the construction structure of a pedestrian bridge being built in the eastern part of Tuzla near Brčanska Malta, one worker was killed, and two were injured and treated at the University Clinical Centre (UKC) Tuzla.

The duty officer at the Ministry of Interior of Tuzla Canton confirmed that the accident occurred, but for now the name of the deceased worker and the company he worked for are not known.

Medical treatment of the injured workers is ongoing in the emergency rooms of UKC Tuzla, and doctors are not yet commenting on the extent of the injuries.

An investigation is underway, after which details and circumstances that led to this accident will be announced to the public.
