Jašarević's term expires, unofficially - Mandra new director of Elektroprivreda BiH

SARAJevo, (Patria) – State representative and former mayor of Kakanj Nermin Mandra is one of the most serious candidates for the new director of Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine, after the current director Bajazit Jašarević's four-year term expired, it was confirmed for the Patria News Agency from multiple sources in Elektroprivreda BiH, as well as in the Party of Democratic Action (SDA).

“There are serious considerations within the SDA regarding Mr. Mandra as the new director of EP BiH,” a Patria source in that party said.

Mandra, among other things, successfully held the position of Minister for Spatial Planning, Transport and Communications and Environmental Protection in the ZDK Government since 2003. After that, he was also the assistant director of the Kakanj Thermal Power Plant. Since 2012, he was elected mayor of Kakanj. He was declared one of the best mayors in Bosnia and Herzegovina after implementing numerous reforms in Kakanj. In the General Elections in BiH last year, he won a seat in the State Parliament.

Jašarević was appointed head of EP BiH on August 31, 2015.
