Japanese man raped more than 100 women, earned $85,000 from porn videos

Japanese police have arrested a man who allegedly drugged and abused more than 100 women who believed they were participating in medical research, reports AFP, as carried by the Patria news agency.

Detectives said that the women responded to advertisements seeking volunteers for "clinical research to measure blood pressure during sleep." 

It is believed that 54-year-old Hideyuki Noguchi gave sedatives to the women and lured them to hotels.

Noguchi recorded everything and posted it online, selling the footage to porn producers. The rapist allegedly earned around 85 thousand dollars.

A police spokesman said that 39 cases of rape have been confirmed, but they believe these are only part of the total number, which is thought to exceed 100.
