Strong police forces to secure funeral of Nerdin Ibrić

Strong police forces will secure the funeral of Nerdin Ibrić, who attacked the police station in Zvornik on Monday shortly before 8 PM, after one policeman was killed and two were wounded. The attacker, Ibrić, was also killed in the attack.
This information was confirmed to the BH News Agency Patria by the police station in Zvornik.

Ibrić's funeral will be held on Thursday around 5 PM, at the local cemetery in Kučić Kula, where Ibrić lived with his mother.

On Monday evening, Ibrić drove a car from Kukić Kula to the Zvornik police station. At the entrance, he shot and killed police officer Dragan Đurić and wounded two of his colleagues. A few moments later, the 24-year-old Ibrić was also killed in the shootout.

Police officer Đurić was buried on Wednesday at the Zvornik cemetery in Karakaj. A high-level delegation from Republika Srpska attended the funeral, including the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik. The killed police officer Đurić was on the list of indicted police officers who participated in the genocide in Srebrenica in 1995, writes NAP.
