Strong wind causes small snow drifts in some sections

There is packed snow on the road this morning on the Livno-Glamoč-Mrkonjić Grad and Bosanski Petrovac-Drvar routes. Strong wind is causing additional difficulties on these routes, creating small snow drifts in places.

On other routes in BiH, the road surface is predominantly wet or damp, according to BIHAMK. Due to low temperatures in the morning hours, we warn of possible ice on sections in mountainous areas, as well as on bridges and approaches to tunnels. We draw attention to frequent landslides of earth or stones onto the road, especially on roads passing over mountain passes, as well as on sections passing through cuttings.

On roads in the southern regions, drivers are warned of strong gusts of wind. On the A-1 Kakanj - Zenica Jug highway in Donji Tičići, traffic is slower in both directions, using one lane due to landslide remediation.

We appeal for maximum caution while driving, adapted to road conditions, and remind you that possessing winter equipment is legally mandatory.
