Jadranka Stojaković buried to the sounds of her songs

Jadranka Stojaković, the unique BiH singer-songwriter who spent a large part of her life in Japan, was buried today at the Vrbanja cemetery in Banja Luka. 

She was buried with her guitar to the melody of her unsurpassed songs. Stojaković passed away at the age of 66 after a long battle with illness.

She had amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, which made it difficult for her to move and speak. She spent her last years in the home for the elderly "Ivan Pavao II" in Banja Luka, where she was visited by numerous celebrities and colleagues from the music scene.

Numerous personalities from the music world attended the final farewell, including Nedžad and Damir Imamović, Neda Ukraden, Ismeta Dervoz, Ivica Šarić, Maja Tatić, Željko Samardžić, and many other admirers of her music.
