On behalf of colleagues from the Jablanica Mountain Rescue Service, we invite all members and people of good will to join the humanitarian campaign to raise funds for the treatment of an exceptionally good, brave and above all humane man, Mujo Đelmo, better known by the nickname Mujo GS, announced the Gradina Srebrenik Rescue Club, reports the Patria news agency.
Mujo is going through a difficult period in his life, fighting daily against cancer of the vocal cords. He was operated on a month ago, when this disease was confirmed. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Mujo provided a modest living for his family of five through his work, and unfortunately he is no longer able to do so.
He is currently fighting this vicious disease, just as he fought in every search for missing persons to restore their dignity and bring smiles to their faces and those of their families.
On behalf of the GSS Jablanica and on our own behalf, we ask everyone who can help to donate funds, as much as we are able, to help our ill colleague Mujo and thus once again show the solidarity that all of us rescuers carry within us.
