SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Central Election Commission of BiH reminds the public that the activity of displaying excerpts from the Provisional Voter Registry is underway, which began on 07/18/2020 and will last until 08/17/2020, and for the implementation of elections for the City Council of the City of Mostar, this activity lasts from 08/23/2020 to 09/22/2020.

The Central Election Commission of BiH invites all persons to inspect the excerpt from the Provisional Voter Registry in their municipality/city, and if they have information about the possible existence of data on deceased persons in the Provisional Voter Registry records, to report this information to the voter registry center in their municipality/city.

The Central Election Commission of BiH has prepared a Guide for reporting data on deceased persons in the Provisional/Central Voter Registry data in relation to the above, which is available to the public on the website of the Central Election Commission of BiH.

Upon receiving information about the possible existence of a deceased person in the Provisional Voter Registry records, the voter registry center will conduct relevant data checks with the competent registry office, and the voter registry center official will inform you about the method of providing feedback.

The procedure for checking data for a deceased person involves checking data entered in all official records of competent authorities, and the discrepancy of the mentioned data is a common reason why a deceased person has not been removed from the Central Voter Registry records. Also, one of the reasons is if the fact of death for the mentioned person has not been entered into the death registry. In the mentioned case, it is necessary to submit a request to the competent municipal authority for entry into the death registry.
