UN Special Rapporteur on Palestine: Like Srebrenica and Rwanda, genocide in Gaza is being carried out with the world's approval

(Patria) - United Nations Special Rapporteur on Palestine Francesca Albanese stated that what Israel has done in Gaza is not much different from the massacre of civilians in other parts of the world, and stated that the genocide in Gaza, like Srebrenica and Rwanda, is being carried out with the world's approval.

Albanese quoted on X a post by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights accusing Israel of executing 11 unarmed Palestinians in front of their families in the al-Rimal district of Gaza.

"If you look closely, you will see that what happened in Gaza is not much different from other massacres of civilians. Genocide is not an isolated act, it is a process and must be prevented, but as before in Srebrenica and Rwanda, in Gaza it is happening with the world's approval," Albanese pointed out.

She also quoted a message stating that genocide and massacres of children in Gaza were carried out by mercenaries from France, the USA, England, Ukraine, Italy, Germany, South Africa, and India, but no one called them foreign terrorist fighters.

She called for pressure to be put on national judicial systems to investigate and prosecute those who commit war crimes abroad, including in the occupied Palestinian territories, in the countries where they hold citizenship.
