Reports of Elektroprivreda BiH and Elektroprivreda HZHB did not receive support from federal representatives

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The initiative by representatives Samira Begić and Salko Zildžić to declare May 25, the day of the crime against Tuzla's youth, as a day of mourning in the Federation of BiH did not receive support.

The Government had previously reacted and stated that the initiative was not acceptable, given that a law on this topic was in preparation.

The report on the business operations of JP Elektroprivreda BiH for 2018 was also not accepted.

Irfan Čengić proposed that the Minister of Environment of FBiH, along with representatives of the Sarajevo Canton and Zenica-Doboj Canton, and JP Elektroprivreda BiH, create a plan for the waste incinerator from the Kakanj Thermal Power Plant. The conclusion did not receive support.

The Report on the work and business operations of JP Elektroprivreda HZHB d.d. Mostar for 2018 also did not receive the support of the representatives.

During the vote on the reports of JP Sarajevo Airport, technical problems occurred, leading to a 20-minute break.

Representatives did not support the report on the business operations of JP Sarajevo Airport d.o.o. Sarajevo for 2016, while reports for 2017 and 2018 received support.

Representative Irfan Čengić (SDP) stated that millions collected from airport fees are used for the development of other airports in FBiH, while tens of millions from profits are taken and transferred to the account of the FBiH Government.

Therefore, he proposed that financial resources for JP Sarajevo Airport for development and capital investments be planned from the FBiH Government budget next year, which would return a portion of the funds paid into the budget to the Airport.

Čengić's conclusion was also supported by representative Nermin Muzur of the People and Justice party.

However, the representatives in the House of Representatives of FBiH did not support this conclusion.

The House of Representatives of FBiH took note of the Report on the indebtedness of FBiH through the issuance of bonds from December 5, 2018, to June 23, 2020. The Report of the Federal Ministry of Finance on the implementation of Conclusion V. No. 1276/2018 (Instructions to public enterprises to pay funds from accumulated profits into the Budget of the Federation of BiH) was also taken note of.

Representatives took note of the Report on the indebtedness of the Federation of BiH based on the issuance of treasury bills on December 11, 2018, and the Report on the indebtedness of the Federation of BiH based on the issuance of treasury bills (6M) on May 19, 2020.

Information regarding the initiative for the continuation of work and operations of the plants and facilities of "Global Ispat Koksna industrija Lukavac", the joint conclusion of Samira Begić (SDA) and Nasiha Pozder (NS) that the Federal Ministry of Environment issue an integrated environmental permit to the company Global Ispat Koksna industrija Lukavac did not receive the necessary majority, missing by only one vote.

The session then concluded.
