CNN has published a projection of five key states according to which Joe Biden leads in Pennsylvania by 13,410 votes, or 0.2 percent. This is 0.1 percent more than in the previous update. In Georgia, Biden leads by 1,561 votes. Earlier, the difference in favor of Biden was 1,858 votes (which is less than 0.1 percent). In Nevada, he leads by 20,137 votes and his lead has decreased to 1.6 percent. Earlier, he led by 22,076 votes, or 1.7 percent. In Arizona, Biden leads by 43,779 votes, which is 1.4 percent, the same as in previous data.

Current US President Donald Trump sent a statement to the media in which he said, "I will never give up the fight for Americans and this nation." Trump said he believes Americans deserve full transparency in the counting of all votes.

"This is about the integrity of our entire electoral process. From the beginning, we have said that all legal ballots must be counted and all illegal ones must not be counted, but at every step we have encountered resistance from the Democrats regarding this basic principle," stated the head of the US and the Republican candidate in the American elections.

He added that he will "verify the legality of every aspect of this electoral process in court" so that citizens can have confidence in their government.

"I will never give up fighting for you and this nation," the statement, carried by American media, reads.

During the day, the Secret Service sent reinforcements to Wilmington to help protect former Vice President Joe Biden as the Democratic candidate prepares for the possibility of soon securing victory in the race for the White House.

The Secret Service called in a team of agents to add protection for Biden after his campaign told the agency that the Democratic candidate would continue to use the Wilmington convention center for at least one more day and that he could deliver an important speech as early as Friday, according to Washington Post sources from the Secret Service.
