(Patria) - The Israeli army has begun moving artillery and tanks towards Gaza.
According to the BBC, photos were taken south of the city of Sderot and they are shelling in the direction of Gaza.
In a short time, Israeli troops have moved from their previous positions. The 24-hour deadline for millions of Gaza residents to evacuate has expired.
Tens of thousands of people have started moving from northern Gaza to the south to save themselves. On this route, Palestinian officials claim, 70 of them were killed because convoys were attacked. As the BBC previously reported, footage showing an attack on a convoy with Palestinian civilians has been confirmed. The footage shows at least 12 killed, including children aged two to five.
Israel gave the Red Crescent a new deadline to evacuate hospitals, but the organization stated that they cannot carry out the evacuation and will continue to work.
Lebanese Hezbollah targeted five Israeli positions in the disputed Shebaa Farms area on the Lebanese-Israeli border on Saturday.
Hezbollah used guided missiles and mortar shells, the group said in a statement.
"Those who were oppressed have been given the right to strike back," Hezbollah's statement reads. They added that they destroyed an Israeli radar point.
A Reuters reporter previously reported heavy shelling of Israeli positions in the area, as well as gunfire.
