(Patria) - The White House is investigating an incident in which Israeli authorities seized equipment from the American news agency Associated Press (AP).
Spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre called this incident concerning and said the White House believes journalists should have the ability and right to do their jobs.
Israeli officials seized a camera and broadcasting equipment belonging to AP in the south of the country, accusing the news agency of violating a new media law by providing photos to Al Jazeera.
The Qatari satellite channel is among thousands of clients receiving live video feeds from AP and other news organizations.
