Israeli Forces Kill 37,598 Palestinians in Gaza Since October 7

(Patria) - At least 37,598 Palestinians have been killed and 86,032 injured in the ongoing attacks carried out by Israel in the blockaded Gaza Strip since October 7 last year, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced.

"Israeli forces have committed four more massacres in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, killing 47 and wounding 121 people," the statement said.

Many victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers cannot reach them due to ongoing Israeli attacks.

In the past 261 days of Israeli attacks, the Gaza Strip has been largely devastated, and about 2.3 million residents under blockade and extreme humanitarian crisis are fighting for survival.

Israeli forces have detained at least 20 more Palestinians in military raids in the occupied West Bank. At least 9,345 Palestinians have been detained by the Israeli army in the West Bank since October 7 last year, according to Palestinian data.

Israel has been accused of genocide before the International Court of Justice in The Hague, which, in its latest precautionary measure, ordered Israel to immediately halt its operation in Rafah, a city in southern Gaza where more than a million displaced Palestinians are located.

Footballer Ahmad Abu al-Atta was killed with his wife and two children in an airstrike that hit their home in Gaza City, the Palestinian Football Association (PFA) announced.

The attack occurred on Friday, local media reported today.

The 34-year-old Abu al Atta played for the enclave's football team Al-Ahly Gaza. His wife, Ruba Esmael Abu al-Atta, was a healthcare worker, the PFA stated in its announcement.
