Israeli army killed 20,424 Palestinians in Gaza since October 7, mostly women and children

(Patria) - At least 166 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours.

Thus, the total number of deaths since October 7 has increased to 20,424, mostly women and children, the Gaza Ministry of Health announced today.

The statement added that another 384 Palestinians were injured in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of injured to 54,036.

Israel launched attacks on the Gaza Strip following Hamas's cross-border attack on October 7, leaving the enclave in ruins with half of the housing stock damaged or destroyed.

Around two million people have been displaced within the densely populated enclave due to shortages of food and clean water.

It is believed that around 1,200 Israelis were killed in the Hamas attack.
